The Financial Accompting Analyst, a self-starter, dynamic and responsible, detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others, will perform various accounting and financial analyses, prepare and review management reports in a multi-currency environment.

Responsabilities:

Under the authority of the Vice-President and Chief Operation Officer, the Financial Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing various accounting operations, analyses and preparing financial reports. In addition to ensuring that accurate accounting and financial information is issued, he/she must complete certain process improvement projects.  Finally, he/she will support his/her immediate superior in the communication of financial information.

• Prepare various financial management reports, management data for current projects and for various strategic initiatives;
• Performs accounting and financial analysis 'adhoc';
• Develop/improve effective management tools by using, organizing and analyzing various data sources;
• Work in close collaboration with the Finance team by contributing to all accounting operations in a multi-currency and project accounting context;
• Actively participate in forecasting, planning and results analysis exercises, including key performance indicators;
• Participate in the search for process improvements to optimize their application and related controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting combined 
• CPA certification (member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agrées du Québec) (an asset);
• Advanced knowledge and advanced working skills of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel (pivot tables);
• Proficiency in French and English (oral and written).

> Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience;
• Any combination of relevant education/experience will be considered;
• Very good skills in budget and financial planning (budget management, forecasts, and financial analysis);
• Good knowledge of an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) is essential and of ACOMBA integrated management system (an asset);
• Relevant work experience in biopharmaceutical and/or service industry is an asset.
